The organization of the building is based around a glazed cube, screened to soften solar exposure.  This cube is complemented by a square that links with pedestrian pathways crossing under the classroom through dense “forest-like” vegetation.
Three of the facades are wrapped with a system of perforated aluminum screens.  The fourth floor with its northwestern orientation accommodates the reading rooms that are formalized as a series of differentiated cantilevers on the second, third and fourth floors. In the interior, the volume is distributed in two uneven pieces centered on an interior courtyard that crosses the whole depth of the building.
