The reintegration of the disused railway at Lepe with the rest of the city can only be facilitated by the conversion and reorganization of this area into an active and integrated part of the town.  The existing situation at Lepe is that of a “severed” town, the city grid broken by the now disused rail line.  Our proposal seeks to weave the site back into the existing grid of Lepe, reinstating flows and connections between the divided parts of the town, in order to open it up to future colonization and use by the people at Lepe.
