In the Spring 2010, Leyre and David led a vertical design studio at Cornell University together with Buro Happold NYC's structural, environmental and ecological engineers on the development of alternative urban scenarios for South Korea's New Songdo City development. Final reviews welcomed guest jurors from Neil Denari Architects, SOM and the designers of the existing Songdo City masterplan: KPF and Arup

Savina Kalkandzhieva, student in the vertical design studio: Viv(e) Las Vegas led by Leyre and David at Cornell University in the Spring 09 is awarded an outlook prize for the project developed within the studio: City Densifiers.

A team led by asensio-mah [with the assistance of Juhyun Kim] has won third prize in the Sa2009 Collaboration with Nature Competition. The team's [Woo-seok Seong, Tae-hwa Kang and Yi-Chen Lin ] project; Archipelagos of Ecologies will be showcased in an exhibition and publication in Seoul.
